The Resident Association and Youth Association of Lafayette Gardens are not-for-profit Resident Advocacy and Social Social Service organizations serving the Lafayette Gardens Development and Community to help the quality of life!
Since 2007, iGotITtoo has been facilitating Community Driven Technology (CDT) programs in economically underserved areas of Brooklyn. We are a dedicated team of volunteers, who work within low-income neighborhoods in Brooklyn to encourage community empowerment and growth. Our approach - a blend of social justice and community empowerment combined with information technology skills - works to interrupt the cycle of poverty in neighborhoods that other organizations have yet to successfully engage. This unique approach has made us successful in working with individuals within these communities and gaining support from local community leaders.
We have been able to grow as an organization that has successfully facilitated an understanding of and competence in, technology learning.
iGotITtoo teaches computer literacy classes for all ages, walks of life and skill levels on an ongoing flexible basis for anyone who resides in the Lafayette Gardens Community.
