NYCHA recently announced the promotion of Mir Mahmood our manger to an upper management position in the borough of Queens. Mr. Mahmood was assigned to LG for an extremely short time and worked closely with The Resident Association, Youth Association and the Tenant Patrol. Most residents referred to him as strict and by the book but he was professional and efficient. He will be missed and we wish him and his family all the best!
Mr. Raymond LaSalle has been asked to succeed as the Acting Manager until a permanent announcement has been announced by NYCHA. Mr. LaSalle came to LG from Farragut a few years ago and continues a pattern of solid and positive working relationships with the residents and resident leadership.
It seems that flowers and residents aren't the only things that grow and prosper in Lafayette Gardens. Congratulations to both Mr. Mahmood and Mr. LaSalle!
