FARE WELL TO A WARRIOR

BYE MRS. WATKINS, WE LOVE YOU!!!!

On Friday evening, the Youth association and the entire purple cluster of Community Centers in Brooklyn said Fare well and Good Luck to our Borough Administrator Gina Watkins who has worked many years in the Brooklyn office of Community Operations on Menahan Street.

Mrs. Watkins was well loved and adored by the young residents she served supervising the Community Centers, NYCHA Summer Camp and Rentals. Her decisions were not always applauded or in the best interest of residents but they were always considered fair.

Many of the young people from all of the Community Centers in the Purple Cluster were in attendance as well as the staff and Community Operations Administration. The young people performed dramatic readings, poems, dances and plenty of hugs and kisses for Mrs. Watkins! She will be missed and remembered fondly.
