A dozen residents represented Lafayette Gardens at the Resident Engagement Forum at Ingersoll Community Center on Monday. Host by NYCHA Commissioners Lopez and Gonzalez was at times informative, part sales pitch and for the most part suspect in many of the facts and details.
What was very clear and concrete was the fat that NYCHA is in dire straights and changes must occur if it is to remain in the housing business.
