*** I'm pleased to inform you that last Thursday, June 2, 2011, I endorsed Civil Court Judge Peter Sweeney for re-election and Housing Court JudgeCheryl Gonzales as a candidate for the Civil Court. While it appears as though they may be uncontested, we will not know for sure until one month from now. In the meantime, I look forward to campaigning with both in the 57th Assembly District and beyond. Judge Gonzales is a 25 year resident of the 57th Assembly District who immigrated to the U.S.A. from the Caribbean and I'm confident that she will be a great asset to the Civil Court. Her service beyond the bench and qualifications are noteworthy.
