If you're looking for employment, know someone who is out of work, considering a career change or are looking to start your own business, the Brooklyn Borough President's office is sponsoring a Job Fair. There will be dozens of employers and business start-up consultants on hand to help get you on the path to success!
NOW is the time to prepare, because you need to be in it, if you hope to win it! This means that you need to spruce up and teak the resume, get out your nice suit or dress and make sure it fits properly. First impressions are the most important ones and it takes time and a plan to make that impression memorable.
Prepare to be there very early because the early bird will have a choice of the best worms. Make sure your resume is up to date and contemporary. Old dusty, irrelevant and outdated resumes are immediately discarded. The Resident Association offers two different programs that can make sure you are ready and prepared with regards to your resume and interview skills. For persons not having a resume, we offer a free resume and job coaching service.
