THE LAFAYETTE GARDENS: EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE

Lafayette Gardens is a federally funded, New York City Housing Authority Development in Brooklyn West. Our Resident Association is a democratically elected governing body of residents charged with the mission of making a positive difference in the quality of life for all residents and the community. Enhancing the quality of life and providing opportunities to participate in a multitude of community, educational and recreational programs, as well as job readiness and training initiatives.

SONY AND THE YOUTH ASSOCIATION

Members of the Youth Association recently visited and enjoyed the Sony Wonder Technology Lab in Midtown Manhattan. the 20 young people, Clare of "igotittoo" our computer program and TYree had a fantastic day exploring the old, new and future of digital technology including gaming, television and radio interactive exhibits. After enjoying a morning of fun activities, the entire group had lunch at McDonalds!
