The district office has received notice from New York City Transit

of bus schedule changes to be implemented in April 2011.

In Community District 2 the changes are as follows:

BUS SCHEDULE B25 (Fulton Street) Weekday PM Peak Hour buses will have an eight minute head-way, rather than the current six, and the headway on Evening buses will increase f rom 12 minutes to 15. Total reduction in service will be 16 buses per day (222 net), or a 6.7 percent decrease. B38 (DeKalb/Lafayette avenues) Saturday AM buses will have an nine minute head-way, rather than the current eight, and the headway on Evening buses will increase from seven minutes to nine. Total reduction in service will be 16 buses per day (300 net), or a 5.1 percent decrease. B45 (Flatbush and Atlantic avenues to Prospect Heights) Total reduction in service will be 20 buses per day (174 net), or a 10.3 percent decrease. However, the proposed headway is unchanged during all periods, according to the report, so go figure.
