THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

New York State Association
of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators, Inc.

40th Annual Association Weekend
_____________________________
February 18-20, 2011
Empire State Plaza
Albany, NY

This weekend February 18 - 21st the powerful and influential Conference of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators will convene in Albany, NY. This is the largest meeting of law makers, movers and shakers who are people of color in New York State.

Essentially a slate of networking and strategic planning for the future of our political and social fabric from school closings and layoffs to support of party candidates, it is a powerful weekend of power brokers.

The Brooklyn West District of NYCHA in which Lafayette Gardens is a member will be front row and center in the action. The district is sending a delegation of four presidents to advocate and represent our interests.

Our very own president "TYree" has been selected as a member of the delegation and will travel to Albany on Friday to participate. Lafayette Gardens and Brooklyn west can be assured the delegation will be speaking up and letting our needs be known in a professional, comprehensive but passionate lobby.

Congratulations to all the members of the Brooklyn West Delegation

Naomi Colon, President - Marcy
Cassandra Harrell, President – Bed Stuy Rehabs
Diane Jackson, President - Cooper Park
TYree Stanback, President - Lafayette Gardens
