Saturday was hot, humid and hazy but that wasn't enough to stop the children from coming out for the annual West Indian Day Childrens Carnival. Come they did in all sizes, shapes and costumes from all over the Caribbean and West Indies!
Lafayette Gardens is a federally funded, New York City Housing Authority Development in Brooklyn West. Our Resident Association is a democratically elected governing body of residents charged with the mission of making a positive difference in the quality of life for all residents and the community. Enhancing the quality of life and providing opportunities to participate in a multitude of community, educational and recreational programs, as well as job readiness and training initiatives.
