Management has notified us of a major problem with one of the three water pumps that service LG. One of the pumps has a severe leak, causing some loss of water pressure and in a few buildings complete loss of water. In an effort to minimize the discomfort and disruption in service, the plumbers have turned down the pressure on the two working pumps to allow everyone water service. This action may cause residents to have less water pressure than normal but water none the less. Management apologizes for the inconvenience and is working to have service restored as soon as possible.
Lafayette Gardens is a federally funded, New York City Housing Authority Development in Brooklyn West. Our Resident Association is a democratically elected governing body of residents charged with the mission of making a positive difference in the quality of life for all residents and the community. Enhancing the quality of life and providing opportunities to participate in a multitude of community, educational and recreational programs, as well as job readiness and training initiatives.
