I have bed bugs?
First call the Centralized Call Center 718 797 7777 and report the problem. Get your ticket number. Call Margie Perez 718 649 6400 at the borough office and request the bedbug team. Make a firm date and time for them to come. Let me know if they don’t come as agreed!

So many elevators broken?
The elevators have been and will continue to be a problem if residents don’t call the centralized call unit 718 707 7777 and report the problem and get a ticket number. Too many residents just complain and call me BUT when I check the system there are no complaints for the building. Residents must call and complain and get a ticket number, then and only then can I take further action if the situation is not repaired in 2-4 hours. When they allocate money for new elevators we are left out because residents don’t complain where it counts!

Want to rent The Community Center?
Short answer yes, the Community Center can be rented by residents or members of the community but they must follow the process and pay the $500.00 rental fee (100.00 is refunded if the center is not damaged) for development residents and $650.00 rental fee for non develoment residents ($250.00 is refunded if the center is not damaged). For contract, booking and details of the fee schedule contact Deborah Morrison, Center Director during normal buiness hours in the center.

Why don’t we have more for young people to do?
WE DO! There are many programs that The Association sponsors but young people do not come out to the meetings, events or help plan what they want. I advertised for the basketball teams, a lot of young men talked the talk but only 3 came to the meeting! We have a youth association now to plan and get what they want. Only 4 youth 13 and up came out but 20 girls and boys came out in the 12 and under group and they planned a few events which they are getting. I hope young people will stop complaining and get up to become involved!

Los residentes deben llamar y quejarse y obtener un número de boleto, entonces y sólo entonces se puede tomar nuevas medidas si la situación no se repara en 2-4 horas. Cuando se asignen fondos para nuevos ascensores que se quedan fuera porque los residentes no se quejan en los que cuenta!

¿Quiere alquilar el Centro de la Comunidad?
Respuesta corta, sí, el Centro de la Comunidad pueden ser alquiladas por los residentes o miembros de la comunidad, sino que debe seguir el proceso y pagar la cuota de alquiler de $ 500,00 (se reembolsará 100,00 si el centro no está dañado)

¿Por qué no tenemos más a los jóvenes a hacer?
WE DO! Hay muchos programas que los patrocinadores de Asociación, pero los jóvenes no salen a las reuniones, eventos o ayudar a planificar lo que quieren. Me anuncian para los equipos de baloncesto, una gran cantidad de jóvenes habló la charla, pero sólo 3 llegaron a la reunión! Tenemos una asociación de jóvenes ahora para planificar y conseguir lo que quieren. Sólo el 4 jóvenes de 13 y hasta salió pero el 20 niñas y los niños salieron en los 12 y en grupo y tenían previsto algunos eventos que están consiguiendo. Espero que la gente joven deja de quejarse y levantarse a participar!
