SPRING AND SUMMER LEAGUES JUMP OFF!

The Citywide Athletic Leagues of NYCHA have kicked off their winter meetings and registration for the upcoming seasons. The Resident Association is responsible for fielding the official teams of Lafayette Gardens.

There are several tenants who sponsor personal teams each year and this is great. The official teams of the development will be coached and endorsed as well as financed by a staff that is approved and endorsed by NYCHA guidelines. The Resident Association is currently seeking coaching staffs for the Boys and Girls Basketball teams, the New Softball Team and Cheerleading Squad. Participation, Uniforms and equipment is FREE to legally qualified NYCHA Residents.
Hay varios inquilinos que patrocinan a los equipos de personal de cada año y este es grande. Anyone interested in coaching, supporting or playing on any of the teams may contact TYree in building 4 apt 17d as soon as possible or attend any of the Youth Resident Association meetings the first Tuesday of each month.
