Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and mother figures. I am especially grateful for those who have made the 57th Assembly District a better place to live, work and play.
As we celebrate the mothers in our lives, let us keep in our thoughts and prayers mothers who have lost a child and children who are without their mothers. Have a wonderful day.

***Earlier this evening I attended the Vanderbilt Avenue Block Association meeting. First, let me thank the residents from the block who invited me. I also wish to congratulate the newly elected officers. Although the meeting was deemed "private", I was able to interact with all of the attendees and distribute literature after the meeting. Lastly, although there were only a few residents in attendance, I'm confident that the association will thrive because there is a commitment to work for the betterment of the block and I wish the residents the very best moving forward.
