The Resident and Youth Associations of Lafayette Gardens and Tompkins Houses joined forces last weekend for a powerful and education Retreat in the fabulous countryside resort of Forrestal Village in Princeton, NJ.
In attendance were 36 Leaders and supporters aiming to sharpen, learn and use their skill sets and knowledge. The facilitators were all from "Share For Life, Inc." Some of the subjects and coursework that took place included Business Etiquette, Leadership Principles and Personal Dedication and Commitment. The collaboration between the two Executive Boards represents an exciting and growing trend in public housing in which different developments are partnering to improve and provide a better quality of life and use of resources.
Special awards were given out recognizing special achievements and service of outstanding leaders and staff.
