SUMMER HEAT is a highly competitive Private Sector Summer Youth Employment Program. Students with successful schools records, community participation and good references are eligible and encouraged to apply. More than ever our youth will be faced with fewer and fewer opportunities for employment this summer as the economic picture worsens in our communities. As hundreds of social service programs and senior centers are closed in April, the strain of increased demand upon already limited incomes and resources will be felt by all. any opportunity for success, achievement and financial gain should be encouraged and promoted for our young people. Unfortunately the program is designed for the cream of the crop, the best or our young men and women. For more information and details contact the website or see TYree in the Resident Association Center. Monday is the final day for assistance as Tuesday march 15th is the application deadline! | |||||||||||||||
