TECH MADNESS

Saturday, February 5th was busy and buzzing with technical expertise as 24 Computer technology volunteers from IGOTITTOO once again invaded Lafayette gardens with their expertise repairing and upgrading computers FREE OF CHARGE!

Residents and Community members came out of the wood work to have their computers rid of viruses, cluttered disks and a host of other issues. The same services at stores that specialize in these services can run in the hundreds of dollars. This is a real and difficult hardship for persons with limited income and access to the services.

The free repair clinics and technical consultations allow professionals to give back to their communities and the residents an opportunity to ensure they are participating and continuing to have access to digital technology. in addition to providing the repair services IGOTITTOO conducts classes from basic to certification free of charge to anyone interested in learning. it was amazing to see young people 9 and 10 years old studying beside the pros. Child prodigies in the making!

If interested in computer repair, classes or volunteering contact the Resident Association office or checkout IGOTITTOO on Facebook.
