Brooklyn Networks is currently recruiting for our next FREE Cable Installer Training Program!
There are only 3 orientations left in order to be eligible for the March 1st class. Orientations will be held on: February 2nd, 9th, and 16th. We are located at 621 Degraw St. in Park Slope, Brooklyn .
Brooklyn Networks is an intensive hands-on training program that will help participants start a career in the field of network cable installation. Cable technicians install the lines that run behind walls and ceilings that are hooked up to computers, telephones, security systems, A/V equipment, and broadcast cable.
Graduates receive an internationally recognized Level 1 Installer certification from an organization called BICSI. Job placement assistance is a part of the program.

To be eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
Live in one of the five NYC boroughs and have low income.
21 Years or older.
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to attend class Monday-Friday 7:45 to 4PM for 5 weeks.
Have a valid NY State Drivers License at the time of application.
Able to pass a drug test.
Physically fit/able to lift 70 lbs.
Able to pass a reading and math test at/or above the 8th grade level.
Orientations are held every Tuesday morning at 10AM SHARP. Applicants should be prepared to complete a program application and will be given a reading and math test. Orientation usually lasts three hours.
Directions: Take the R train to Union Street, walk two blocks on 4th Avenue towards the clock tower and make a left on Degraw St., OR take the 2,3,4,5,B,D,N or Q to Atlantic or Pacific and walk down 4th Avenue away from the clock tower, turn right onto Degraw St.
